Geocache Description:

Benjamin Rush's treasure is this park itself. Has just been developed as a new passive park in the PA DCNR's state park system. This cache is a tribute to Dr Rush, himself, as he was born in Byberry, PA, now a part of NE Philadelphia. Please observe the posted hours of 8:00 AM to Sunset.

This cache is a small/medium sized container with a few appropriatly themed cache items as well as some child friendly trinkets. Please trade some of your own. Initial contents include an unactivated Geocoin for FTF and a GEO Washington gold dollar coin.

Enter park from Southampton Road. Shares entrance with the Veteran's Home. This park is undergoing a reforestation and meadow management development program. Please park at one of the small blacktopped areas and make your way to the nearest trail access. As tempting as it may be, please DO NOT go cross country and damage the new meadows. This cache is located only a few feet from one of these trails.

Congrats to dryvitman17 for his FTF!
