Geocache Description:


Located in the DeForest Nature Park in Dix Hills.

This cache replaces another cache I had in this preserve that disappeared. It's in a different location than the other one, though. I think this is a better spot.

I suggest wearing long pants when you look for this one, even in the summer, as the trail could be overgrown and a little thorny.

The cache is a small container with a screw top (a little bigger than a 35mm film can) with only a log book inside. You supply something to write with.

Enjoy the hunt and, as always, please rehide it as good or better than you find it.
