Geocache Description:

A short event, from 0800-0830 (that's 8am-8.30am to you) in the Irish Wilderness. Interested parties can join us for a little hike afterwards.

Join some of the SEMOG (Southeast MO Geocachers) in the beautiful Irish Wilderness for a little communing with nature. Just off State Highway J, in East Oregon County, MO (about 32 miles West of Poplar Bluff), enjoy some coffee and a light snack to get your day started. Everyone is welcome to join us.


Following the Meet & Greet, interested parties will be heading off for a 20-mile (round-trip), overnight, backpacking hike, in the Irish Wilderness. Indicate your interest in this hike when you log your 'Will Attend' and I'll e-mail you details about the hike.

This event MAY be canceled/rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. 'watch listing' for this cache to get updates through the logs.
