Geocache Description:

Hidden in a busy parking lot, please use caution when finding this cache.

Bring your own pen, as this cylinder is too small to hold anything but our wedding memories.

We have both been lifeguards for many years, but it was not until January of 2014 that we started to guard the same water at our local YMCA.  During shifts together, we made time to learn about each-others hobbies and bonded over a deep love of the outdoors and the desire to thru-hike the Appalachian Trial. While hiking in Vermont, he proposed after we stumbled upon our first geocache.  It was by total accident that we found that first treasure box, and when I wasn’t looking, he placed my engagement ring inside the geocache for me to discover. We have incorporated small trinkets from our wedding into this Geocache, and hidden it on the one-year anniversary of our first geocache find and proposal date.
