Water World Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Easy drive up plus you'll learn somethin'!

Ever wonder where all the water for this area comes from? Read all about it at the cache site.

While there is a good underground supply, the forward thinking planners of the mid 60's had the kind of growth that the area is experiencing now in mind decades ago. And because of their planning, Tehachapi's current and future water needs for folks, critters and all growing things will be well served in the decades to come.

Bring a pencil as the cache is too small for anything but a tiny log. If it's a hot day, bring your own water too. This may be a source of water for Tehachapi, but you won't be able to tap the source for yourself.
