We're back, but no longer located in the same nature preserve in Seekonk, MA. This cache is now closer to the meeting place of the Kids Stamp Club. I'm not giving out too many details due to the recent "troubles"... :-) Refinds are OK as long as you send back a card/envelope from a new location!
This geocache is maintained by the Seekonk Children’s Stamp Club. This cache is a traditional cache with a variation on the “letterbox” type of cache. The goal of this cache is for the Kids Stamp Collecting club to collect as many different postmarks on postal cards AND NEW ENVELOPES from as far away as possible. The cache contains a stack of prepaid ENVELOPES that have been pre-addressed to return to the Kid’s Stamp Club via the Rhode Island Philatelic Society post office box. Please take one from the cache, write a note - bring it to where-ever you’re going and drop it in the mail. Each return card or envelope will get scanned and put on the RIPS web site as an on-line exhibit. IT’S YOUR CHANCE TO SHINE – The kids would like to see you create interesting artwork, drawings, decorations, and info on yourself, etc. on the postcards or in your notes. It will be great fun to build this collection and share the collection on-line. The Seekonk Kid’s Stamp Collecting Club meets at the Seekonk, MA library on Saturday afternoons during the school year.
