Geocache Description:

 

This cache was originally placed for the 2012 WGA Picnic. Pike Lake was the site of GC1323 the first WGA Picnic in August of 2001.


This small lock n lock camo'd container is hidden on the Ice Age Trail (IAT). It can be accessed from the trailhead for a short hike or from Pike Lake State Park for a longer hike.  The IAT does have a 0.3 mile road stretch from Pike Lake that land on either side is private.  The road is not busy though and should be suitable for kids of all ages.

Depending on what direction you come from the terrain may be up to a 2-2.5.
