Accessible by boat only! On Eagle Island State Park. Make sure you check your charts. Beware of Poison Oak! The cache is not hidden near any Poison Oak.
This cache is the only one located on Eagle Island State Park. Access is by boat only. There are three mooring bouys around the island and good anchorage on the east and west sides. Be sure to check your charts, there is a reef on the west side of the island! The island is a 10 acre park and has very few trails. The island has a lot of Poison Oak on it. Make sure you know what it looks like and avoid it. The cache has been placed so that you never come into contact with Poison Oak! The cache is an ammo box.
We saw Bald Eagles, Deer and many Sea Lions while on the island. A very nice place for a picnic lunch. Don't forget to sign the log book! This is the original Eagles Liar cache but I re-hid it because moronic muggles decided to ruin the cache for others.
