Growing up one of my favorite albums (remember those?) was Pink Floyds "The Wall". I spent many hours in my friend's basement playing pool and listening to the album.
The album is a rock concept album that centres on Pink, a character modelled after members of the band. Pink's life experiences begin with the loss of his father during WWII, and continue with ridicule and abuse from his schoolteachers, an overprotective mother and finally, the breakdown of his marriage. All contribute to his eventual self-imposed isolation from society, represented by a metaphorical wall.
Please feel free to post any pictures of interesting walls you have found throughout your travels. The cache is located at Lapham Peak in the Kettle Moraine Forest Southern Unit. There is a fee to enter the park either with a year sticker or a daily pass. The trail to the cache on the Black Trail can be strenuous for inexperienced hikers or very young children. When you get to the cache, you will be standing on top of "The Wall". The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the Kettle Moraine State Forest-Southern Unit State Park of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
