The Seamill Seals Traditional Cache
Pooter: Wellied, I'm afraid. It looks like the aliens eat each other.

A seaside cache on the Ayrshire coast with spectacular views across the Clyde Estuary to Arran. This stretch of the coast is rich in wildlife with a variety of seabirds, and a large seal colony living on the offshore rocks.
The best place to park is at N55 41.151, W04 51.972 although the are other roads with access to the beach. If the tide is halfway out or more, the rocks opposite the car park become exposed and the seals will come out of the water to bask. You will see them all through the year except for high summer when they move further out. Bring your binoculars. I saw a dolphin here last year, although this is pretty unusual.
Stop Press Nov 2012:
Aliens have been gradually infiltrating this part of the beach and their presence has certainly had a scary impact on the number of seals and they also seem to have de-materialised the original cache. If you can't beat them - Join them. It's now a micro under alien guardianship.
