Deep inside Tahitian Village near the river. Is close to the road. PArk where the fishermen park, east of the golf course and cross the road. DO NOT ascend to the level of the cave or the top of the cliff. Vultures roost there. The cache is much more accessible than the climb.
This is my first placement. Feedback is appreciated. Although you have to enter a subdivision, the placement is actually near the Colorado River on public property near the golf course. Some use this location to park for fishing from the river. Cache is across the street from this parking. There are cool caves in the hillside but don't venture too close. I did and was startled by large vultures flying out of them into my face. I quickly retreated back down the rough path and chose a safer location. Additional directions are encrypted.
The theme of the cache is Bloom Where You Are Planted and initial contents include plant food, Sunflower, Forget Me Not and MAgic Egg growpots,a silk bluebonnet and seeds, silk rose, magnet and a couple of packages of seeds of plants from Hawaii. Not exactly your rough and ready outdoorsy male type contents but any additions are welcome and who knows, the flowers might come in handy!
