Saturday, April 25 offers several fun-filled activities for geocachers! Come join us for a geocachers’ potluck at “Wilderness Way,” the home of Wilderness Mama and Papa, two miles south of Ely. This event will start at 4 p.m. following the Bass Lake Trail CITO event (GC5MHNB) being held earlier in the day, but it is a separate event so you can attend just one or both. The potluck should conclude at 6 p.m. Bring a dish to share, your geocaching stories, and any trackables you might have. And for those of you who would like to explore our woods, there just might be a few geocaches planted around the property for this event.
You may drop off food at the house (for refrigeration or plugging in crock-pots) before the CITO event if you are attending both, and you are welcome to come earlier if the previous event gets over early.
(Please take a few extra seconds to make sure there is no oncoming traffic before turning into our road as there is a blind hill on Hwy. 1)
