We recommend finding 'Precarious' and 'In the Corral' caches before this one because it's the easiest way around.
This trail system fits together like 3 pieces of a very peaky lemon meringue pie. The cache is on a fun path in an unusual stretch of old forest - parts of which are being selectively harvested. Fortunately young trees are already sprouting up.
There's lots of evidence of wildlife but the only live specimen we saw was a coyote in someone's driveway on the way here.
After finding the cache, continue along the trail until you reach a road. Following this hook shaped road you'll head north, then west and finally swoop southward. At the 'T' junction, fork right to head up to the 'Creature's Lair' cache.
