2016 will see the planting of 900 woodland trees in the Crox Bottom reserve. The one tree per child team are grateful for any help Geocachers can provide to complete the work in the reserve.
I will be attending at lunchtime between 12:30 and 13:30 to plant some trees at the site. There will be other jobs too like mulching and protecting the trees with covers and stakes.
Parking is available nearby at The Imperial Park retail park, and we will meet outside The Range at 12:30 and walk over to the park
All equipment and trees are provided, by the council, please wear appropriate clothing as you could get dirty and wear appropriate stout footware.
Please indicate at least the day prior to the event if you are coming with a "will attend log", and not just show up on the day, as need to know numbers attending in advance, to ensure there is sufficient equipment.
There are already a number of caches in crox bottom. Please feel free to grab them after or before the event.
