I placed this cache on a wonderfully warm and sunny day along the
northern California Pacific coast in winter, which can still
surprisingly (at least to me) be the best time of the year to enjoy
the area. (Ask the elephant seals if you have doubts!
)
Año Nuevo State Park is a large and great place to explore:
geology, marine life, fossils, natural beauty, visitor center,
...
This cache is placed near a parking area that allows you free
access to the eastern part of the park without having to pay access
fees. From there just look for the sign for the trail head.
The Año Nuevo State Park Visitor Center is a short half-mile
walk from the cache.
Enjoy! And happy caching!
