We love hiking and walking at Stony Creek Metropark and hope
that others enjoy it as much as we do. This cache was placed to
replace the four that were archived by me. There has to be a reason
for cachers to keep coming back.
The container for this cache was the original container that was
the at the first cache that I found. Slippery Rocks (GCGN9Q) was
archived long ago and was one of the rescue missions that I did to
keep it from becoming Geo-Trash.
Happy Hunting and remember the cache is located less than 50
feet from the trail so bushwhacking further than that is not
necessary and is discouraged to reduce impact on the
environment.
This cache is located
within Stony Creek Metropark, a part of the Huron-Clinton
Metropolitan Authority park system. A Metropark Vehicle Entry
Permit is required: Annual Permit $25. Senior Permit $15. Daily
Permit $5.
