No Hinty on McGinty Traditional Cache
LavaLizard: As there has been no response from the cache owner, I am archiving this cache to remove it from search pages and to allow for new caches in this area.
If the cache owner addresses the issues that lead to archival and contacts me within a reasonable period of time (6-8 weeks), it [i]may[/i] be possible to unarchive the cache.

Located near top of Mt. McGinty in Jamul. Park off north side of Jamul Drive roughly 3/10 mile from Lyons Valley Rd. Proceed through gate on trail north to switchbacks, at top of switchbacks make a left and follow spine of mountain north to summit (2183'). Vertical gain: 1400 feet. Cache is nearby. Beware of rattlesnakes.
This is the "sleeper" hike of SD County, providing sweeping vistas of the metropolis/ocean to the west and the rugged, sprawling east county to the, well, east. Cache contains various assorted goodies: Pack of Sycuan playing cards (3), Key chain (2), Pocket Knife, Baseball/basketball cards, Hackysack, Wallet, Pez Dispenser, Mini-Wiffle Ball, Lego Guy w/K-Nex, Hair Clip.
Coordinates have been corrected. No excuse to get up this puppy now!
