Why:
This is a pre pre event to the Mega Event.
This may be the first time that so many Scottish geocachers have
been south of the border at any one time. So The GeoX Forum
Members thought it would be a good idea to invite anyone that
was already in the area to come and meet us.
Details:
The main idea is just for a social gathering. Any additional
stuff that has been organised is listed below.
Children are welcome.
Food:

So that we can gauge how much Haggis & Neaps that needs to
be purchased, can we get some feedback on what people would prefer
please?
(a) If they would like to eat off the menu
(b) If they would like the special just for the cache meet of
Haggis and Neaps.
The cost for the Haggis, Neaps & Tatties will be £6.95 per
head.
We are not asking people to commit, just a vague indication if
they would like Haggis and Neaps?
You can either post your preference on here, or send Haggis Hunter an email with
your preference.
In order to assist us with the planning of this event, can
people please indicate :-
(a) How many people will be attending in each team
(b) Please indicate if you will be eating

Quiz:
skinnymalinky will be holding a Scottish themed quiz with a small
prize.
Guess the name of the Teddy:
Us 4 and Jess is donating a teddy bear and Deceangi is donating a
set of Unregistered TB tags to hang around it's neck.
Due to Groundspeak's strict rules, I can't say any more on what is
going to happen with the Teddy, but I am sure you can guess?
2009 Calendars:
Us 4 and Jess have also made calendars to
help raise funds for the Mega event. If you are interested in
purchasing one, please get in touch with them through their
profile.
Edinburgh Geocoins:
Edinburgh geocoins will be available during the event. There are
only 80 silver left. Coins are very reasonably priced. Ask Firth of
Forth, who will be identifiable by her name on her geocaching polo
shirt!
