The Seanachai: Greetings from Geocaching.com,

While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you for a reasonable amount of time, we cannot do so indefinitely. In light of the lack of communication regarding this cache it has been archived to free up the area for new placements. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up this cache or any remaining bits as soon as possible. If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please e-mail me in response to this archival and, if possible, I will unarchive your cache.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute in the past and I am looking forward to your continued contributions to the sport of Geocaching.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Camo Ammo Box in typical hiding spot. Park on side of road within 20 feet of cache. Barbed wire fence very close to cache does not need to be crossed. Difficulty due to elevation change. Special equipment is not required, but night caching or caching alone could be cause for concern.

The container is the pre-made cache from the GOWT Founder's Meeting. Thanks to all who attended. Though technically from Mississippi, we were made welcome at this event and wanted to make sure the cache was placed in Tennessee, even if just barely *wink*. We've added a few of our own personalizations as well.
The marker nearby is not a benchmark but we don't know exactly what it is. If you have thoughts on it's identification, please include them.

The rating system provided with the submition form suggests that the cache should be rated 3.5-4, mainly for the following reasons:
Severe elevation changes - The only way up the slope is to use your hands. Going down may require the use of your backside.
Other trail types - Could be gravel, sand, mud, etc. May be an animal trail. If you're riding a bike, it had better be a mountain bike.
The barbed wire fence is only a few feet from the top of the slope and could be a hazard if one were to slip at the top of the climb.
Under normal conditions, a cacher in average physical condition should not find this terrain anywhere near as ominous as the rating seems to indicate. Thanks to GonzotheGreat for suggesting the need for clarification.
