Geocache Description:

A real life Robin Hood? You bet he was!

I recently discovered that a real life Robin Hood was actually buried in our hometown cemetery. No, he didn’t steal from the rich. But he definitely left a legacy for archers. Howard Hill is considered the greatest archer of all times. He is known for his legendary hunts and incredible archery skills. His accomplishments are too many to list. Do a Google search and find out more about this archer of celebrity status. When searching for the cache, you will not have to go among the gravestones. If you decide to visit the gravesite of Howard Hill, please be respectful and tread lightly. I recently learned of how fellow archers have paid respect to Mr. Hill but you will have to discover that on your own! The gravesite is located to the left of the cedar tree on the hill. You can actually see the tombstone from the cache location. Good luck.
