This cache has been archived.

Wis Kid: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This is a Regular size Cache! You are looking for an Ammo Can
There is a small trail between the church and the parsonage,
the cache is just off that trail so it takes a minimum
amount of Bushwacking to find this cache.

This is the church that I grew up in, I was baptized, and Confirmed here,
served as an Alter Boy and Acolyte.

I Grew Up on a Dairy Farm not far from here, My Great, Great, Grand Parents
through My Parents are buried here, 4 Generations.

The farm that I grew up on is less than 2 miles South West of here (As the Bird Flies), if you look on the maps you will see a small lake Named after my Family Name. I spent the first 16 years of my life on that farm. My Dad got sick in the 1970's he sold the Farm and we moved up near Rhinelander, Wisconsin in 1980.

During the last few years of my Dad's Life he moved back down here and served as an Elder at Immanuel, Town Scott. At that time they developed Monday Night Church Service, I made it down to this area in time to Attend Services, talk to some of the Family Friends and receive permission to hide this Cache.

The North East corner of the cemetery is the oldest part,
there are Head Stones that date back to the 1700's. The cache is in this area.

(Permission for this cache given by Rev. Kurt Ziemann, Pastor.
He was excited to have a Cache on the Church Grounds!)
