Located at one of the many great view points along the Oregon Pacific Coast. Just a short walk to find it. Jeezzz I can't believe it's still active this long - Placed back in 2001 - Lot's of trees so GPS coverage is poor, so don't feel bad if you need to use the hint. Don't forget to enjoy this wonderful view point. I finally made it back to the site, April 2013, I replaced the VERY rusted ammo can with a new black plastic ammo container. It should be good for another 12 years.
It's in a small black plastic ammo can. Not hard to find, be sure to hide it well after you find it. In the summer time, bring some squirrel snacks for the family of them that live by the retainer fence down at the parking area. They will come up and eat them out of your hands they are so tame. Feed one, and after a few chrips, they will all come out for the feeding. Contents have changed, placed in Sept, 2001, replaced the rusted ammo can April 2013 with a new plastic ammo can.
