How Geocaching Works
A quiet and peaceful resting place located in Wilson's Mills in Lincoln Plantation. Available during daylight hours only
I can't help but think of the history at this location. Off to one side, a discontinued covered bridge, the Bennett- Bean Bridge built in 1898 and restored in 2004. Closed to traffic in 1985, it spans 93 feet. Then, either before or after finding the cache, take a few moments to ponder the names and dates that you will see. There is no need to be inside the fenced in area to find this cache. Also, I recommend that you access the cache by driving down the Bennett Road and not via the adjoining campground. Please replace as found, to insure that the cache stays in place. BYOP Congratulations to Team Snook on the FTF.
