Following the design of the orignal WWFM flow, this event will begin precisely at 10:00 AM (noon, Central time) with the appearance of an orange bucket. There will be three stages:
12:00 to 12:09 -- Gather at the posted GZ, sign-in, and deposit trackables to trade
12:10 to 12:19 -- Move to the location for Stage 2: Feeding of the Masses; draw for FTF rights and phabulous door prizes, retrieve trackables (if you brought one)
12:20 -- to 12:30 -- Move to the location for Stage 3: Phantastic Phoon Photo Phinish (Individual and group poses) - then quickly DISPERSE!
Now for the twist to the fun: Wear your Maroon Festoon to Phoon with a Balloon on a Spoon while you Swoon a Tune around Noon in June at Calhoun. Everyone is welcome (and encouraged) to find other appropriate activities and props to Pheature in their Phoon Photo.
Just so you know, according to UrbanDictionary.com, PHOON: (1) n. One who phoons. (2) v. To stand motionless on one foot, tilted forward at the waist, with one bent arm held in front and the other bent arm held behind.
In the past, WWFM events were scheduled to last 15 minutes; however, events on geocaching.com must be scheduled to last at least 30 minutes. Not a problem for me; as I recall, most of my flash mob events have lasted closer to 30 minutes -- too much on the schedule... and too much fun to cut it short! Now we have plenty of time to stick to the schedule and finish on time!
According to the "official" booklist, as of 05/21/15, there are 260 events in 32 countries released for WWFM XII!
As of 06/04/15, there are 389 events in 40 countries released for WWFM XII!
With all that is going to be going on, there are plenty of oppor-toon-ities to vol-oon-teer. Please contact GameForTravel through the new message system in the top banner on geocaching.com.
Just so you know... Wynn Drive is closed in front of the campus, however, the parking lot can still be assessed from Wynn Drive and from Old Madison Pike.
See you SOON...
