Bâtie au XVe siècle à l'angle des deux bras de l'Amasse, elle a été découronnée et aménagée au XVIIIe siècle. Son toit d'ardoise en bulbe est surmonté d'un lanternon octogonal terminé par une sphère en zinc. le style rappelle certains motifs architecturaux de la pagode de Chanteloup édifiée par le duc de Choiseul (monument ouvert au public, au nord d'Amboise, vers Bléré). Son nom proviendrait de "féal", voulant dire fidèle, loyal. Du quai des Marais, l'Amasse s'écoulait à ciel ouvert jusqu'à la tour. Elle se déverse, encore actuellement, au niveau du vannage sur le quai derrière l'ancien Office de Tourisme.

Built in the 15th century at the corner of the two branches of Amasse, the top was removed from the tower, and it was renovated in the 18th century. Its slate onion-shape roof is topped with an octogonal Lantern ending in a sinc sphere. The style is evocative of certain architectural motifs of the Chanteloup pagoda built by Choiseul (monument open to the public, to the north of Amboise, towards Bléré). Its name comes from "féal", meaning faithful, loyal. From quai des Marais, the Amasse flowed in the open air as far a the tower. It still flow out at the sluice gates on the quay behind the old Tourist Office.
