Geocache Description:

A small lock and lock [ammo can] along the Saratoga Gap trail in Castle Rock SP

I was out for a solo hike in the rain today to explore this side of Castle Rock. As you round the bend from the North (I recommend coming up the gap trail from below) and approach this area you are treated to some pretty spectacular views. I was fortunate to have the storm clouds lift just above my level for a moment which allowed the view to materialize before my eyes, that's something I'll fondly recall for years to come.

The cache is placed about 4 feet high, one foot off trail. Please, please re-camo it very well. There are not many areas to hide a cache here so it may be very well hidden.

If you bring kids keep a very close eye on them as there are sheer drops along this trail.

Be sure to continue along the trail to check out the cables!
