I rejoice at this wondrous find. What incredible preservation of
the parchement, this may be the last reminder of this civilization.
To say some believed they had not developped writing. It appears
entirely alien. I will attempt to decypher it.
Nov 13th, 18-
Searched various references, incredible, how did this make it to
the frozen North.
Nov 15th, 18-
Managed to solve part of it: "A great
treasure...hidden...far...brought where people walk on water." I
believe the remainder to be directions to find the artefacts.
Famous and fortune - knowledge is still my goal.
Nov 25th, 18-
Managed to secure funding and supplies for an expedition to travel
deeper into the frozen wasteland.
Dec 1st, 18-
The cold is bitter and nothing to be found. No temple, not even a
misplaced rock. The directions were clear, where did I go wrong? I
must turn back the storm is filling my tracks as quickly as I make
them.
Dec 4th, 18-
Made it back to a small hamlet. I have lost threes toes and two
fingers. Standing outside even short moments chills me deeply. I
will not be able to continue looking for the relics. I had to burn
the parchement for the little heat it could give. The directions
are scorched in my head
