This is a day to let loose and just have some fun! Get crazy! Dance all night long! And, get some smilies along the way...
The Story behind this event:
Once upon a time, Pasha88 was engaged to a very nice young man. It was a fairy tale like one would read in a book. However, it didn't take long for their relationship to go south, and as a result it ended.
Pasha88 was left with an unused wedding dress.
"What ever shall I do with this lovely dress?" thought Pasha88.
Answer: Stick it in her car trunk and forget about it, at least for the next 6 months.
Enter: Jacks2u. On day, while out on a caching adventure, Jacks2u went to place her caching bag in Pasha88's trunk, which was occupied by the wedding dress.
"Pasha88, why on Earth do you have a wedding dress in your trunk?" Jacks2u asked.
"Well, I didn't know what else to do with it, so I put it there and left it there. Maybe one day I will do something with it..." Pasha88 replied.
Jacks2u knew exactly what to do with it... wear it CACHING! (Because what else are you going to do with it... seriously, the dress is cursed!)
And so we (the wedding cachers) present:

Where: Terra Cotta Conservation Area Pavillion

When: Saturday, September 10th, 2011
Time: 9am until noon
Why: Because we need an excuse to get dressed up and go caching!
While there is no cost to attend this event, Terra Cotta Conservation Area does charge an admission fee for use of the park for the day. Mr. Jacks2u has secured the pavillion for the day, so those who wish to stay in the area and cache can come and go as they please. We are working on getting the entrance fees covered for all cachers who are attending this event, but plan until we know for sure plan on paying admission fees, just in case. Details to come as the event approaches!
This event will be a pot luck picnic, so please bring something to share. Include in your "will attend" log what you will be bringing.
To be in spirit, please dress in proper BLACK TIE attire! Wedding gowns/tuxedoes are not mandatory, but are highly recommended and there will be prizes for those who participate. :)
Please plan to cache in your gown/suit, at least for a short time. We are trying to create some event only, suit/trane friendly caches for this reason. We will also have some dress/suit friendly games to play, for those brave enough!
