This event is the Omaha launch for The Great TB March (from March to March). Join us in the downstairs public meeting room at the Swanson Public Library from 10:30 am - noon. Entering a trackable in the race is not required to attend.

If you'd like to save some steps before registration day, you can print the images from this page (tag front and tag back) and create a luggage or laminated tag for attaching to your trackable ahead of time. If not, tags will be available at the event.
To be eligible for the race, a trackable must be activated but have 0 miles and no logs before being dropped into this event. Limit of 2 racers per owner. More information at the race website.
Discovery table: We won't be having the official race entries available to be discovered, as listing and sharing the tracking numbers publicly would be a bad idea. However, if you are in possession of additional travelers, t-shirts, cachemobiles, etc. feel free to bring and share them. There will be a discovery table at the launch event.
EVENT SCHEDULE
In case you're attending several events on March 5, here's the schedule for the Omaha Great TB March (from March to March) launch event at the Swanson Public Library, downstairs meeting room. **Please note that because of differences between venues, this is NOT the schedule for the Lincoln event.
10:30 am: Doors open
** You may want to come around 10:30 IF...
...your racers needs some attention, such as a hole drilled, a photo taken, or if you'll need to log in to your geocaching.com account and drop it into the event. There will be 4 laptop computers online and available for you to use.
...you are interested in going upstairs and finding the indoor mystery cache OPL - A Man, A Can & A Plan. It has 34 favorite points and is recommended. It's fun to do as a group (and fun to watch others do if you already have done it).
...you have some non-racing TBs to share discovery of, pathtags to trade, geocoin collections to show-off, or otherwise like spending leisure time with other geocachers.
11:15 am: Door prizes
** You may want to come around 11:15 IF...
...your racers are all ready to go: they're activated, dropped into the event ahead of time, you've taken photos and uploaded them as the default image. We'll have race hangtags available if that's the only final step you need, or if you've already taken care of that, that's great!
...you'd like the opportunity to win a cool door prize. We'll start the drawing for door prizes around 11:20.
11:45 am: Photos at the starting line
We'll make our way to the starting line (outdoors, weather permitting), take some starting line photos, and countdown to launch time. Then those who have pledged to give the racers a good first starting log (as per the rules) will do their duty. We have the public meeting room until 12:30 or so.
