A 15 minutes car ride from downtown is necessary
to find the final cache location.
The Chateau Laurier
The Chateau Laurier was commissioned by Mr. Charles Melville
Hays, the president of the "Grand Trunk Railway". Built to resemble
a castle in France, the hotel would be the first in his grand
scheme of establishing a chain of opulent hotels across Canada.
A few weeks before the grand opening Mr. Hays decided to visit
London, England for some furnishings for the rooms. He then decided
to return home on the ill fated RMS Titanic. He was one of the
1,500 plus people who died when the ship sank. Mr Hays never saw
the opening of his splendid hotel...
Multiple ghost sightings have been reported. Visitors have
complained of hearing soft whistling, and a man in dark cloak on
the fifth floor. On another occasion, a woman fled in panic, when
things began moving around her room of their own accord.
The flesh and blood Charles Melville Hays never saw his dream
come true, but the belief is that his spirit continues to dwell in
the hotel which was his last and greatest achievement.
At the posted coordinates, you will find a large red plaque on
the front of the hotel. You will see three dates. The first date is
ABCD, and the last one is EFGH. The cache is at:

The digital root of the cache coordinates is 4. The cache
location is close to a trail that you can also use to find another
cache of mine; Halloween2004: The Lost Cacher. It is a 20 minutes
car ride from downtown. I installed a few reflectors if you dare to
go there at night.
