OH Mr Hunter! Traditional Geocache

This cache is dedicated to Oreo ( one of the great black labs) and her human, Carl. 5 years ago we were walking with the lab pack, on the last day of gun season. Just south of the cache area in the marsh area Oreo was doing what she does best. Stalk and hunt. Carl and I were with the other labs on the "lonely road" and off in the distance to the right was a hunter ( on state land , but not in the park) . All of a sudden a buck did a leap and started running toward the hunter, low and behold Oreo was chashing it. Ran the (wonded) buck down about 100 yards from the hunter, and just sat by it untill we got there. The deer was laying there hurt. Soooo Carl calls out " OH Mister Hunter" Can you come here? So the guy got the deer in a most unusual way. I'm sure he will never forget that hunting season!
The Geocache notification form#2500-118 has been submitted to Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest Headquarters of the Wisconsin DNR and received approval for placement by Jason Quast. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
