Geocache Description:

This series of caches was inspired by the 26 Acts of Kindness Challenge that honors the fallen children and faculty of Newtown Elementary School. Twenty-six innocent lives were taken during one tragic act of evil. But, we can change the world with one Random Act of Kindness at a time. Each of the 26 caches in this series was placed so that the finder can complete a Random Act of Kindness while doing what they love - geocache!

A simple Random Act of Kindness which could save a life would be to teach someone to swim. There is ABSOLUTELY NO SWIMMING allowed in the reservoir. This cache was placed in this area because my daughter and I witnessed an unnecessary drowning near by that could have been prevented if the person followed the warning signs AND knew how to swim. You are looking for a plastic vial-like container that contains a log only. Please bring your own pen and replace exactly as found. There is plenty of parking but please be aware of local hunting policies - huntin is allowed in the area by permit only during various seasons. Cache is available Dawn to Dusk only! Please note that my two GPS units had some bounce to them on both visits...if you find the coords are way off, please contact me! DO NOT GO DOWN THE HILL!
