Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

This cache is located on the Roora Reserve Nature Trail, on the outskirts of Kimba. It consists of 2km of easy walking or bike riding on a well defined path through natural bushland. Once you have found it, and if you are feeling energetic enough, you may wish to continue along the trail up a slightly increasing gradient to finish at Whites Knob.
By the way, if by some chance you do hear the roar of water in the creek, take a photo as it doesn’t often happen, and upload it.
Please observe all bush-walking rules.
Cache contains the usual assortments of swaps including an Aussie flag, pen, fridge magnet, Shrek window sticker and logbook and pencil.

Found after a long walk on a very cold morning. The wind was like a knife cutting straight through us. For a short, glorious moment the sun was warm on our backs but it was gone in ten seconds. The only roaring we could hear was the wind howling through the trees and my head (yes, sometimes it is considered hollow by others!) as the creek is still bone dry. Found our first balloon geocoin - it is very nice, thanx. Container is brittle and broken so not waterproof although the contents are dry at the moment. We covered it well in case it rains soon.

A lovely afternoon stroll after our tour of the local school (we were back in Kimba for a 20 year high school reunion).
No swaps but left a beautiful balloon geocoin here. Thanks MechaniCan.
