The Schneider Glacial Habitat Restoration Area is a 65 acre parcel of WDNR land, managed for production of waterfowl, wild pheasant, and non-game songbirds. In an era of ever increasing rural development and disappearing farmland and wetland, these areas are critical to the nesting, feeding, and overall survival of birds and other wildlife.
This is the seventh of many "Room 2 Roam" cache placements. These caches are not park 'n' grabs and can be wet during the different seasons of the year.
Enjoy the short trek and watch for wildlife!
