A log sheet only micro hidden around one of downtown Scottsdale's newest pieces of art.

CONGRATS TO PUNKSOULBROTHER ON FTF!

This is an incredible structure. Absolute stealth is required so that the cache is not muggled. Dinnertime could be especially difficult due to adjacent restaurant. There is a bench nearby to sign the log. But don't forget to stand in the middle of the structure and enjoy the sounds.

From the website:
"Donald Lipski’s sculpture is the first in a series of significant public and privately funded artworks that will populate Scottsdale’s Arizona Canal area. The Doors sets a high bar for future additions to the canal area collection as it offers all the best elements of experiential art—it is approachable, unique and fun, and appealing to motorists and pedestrians alike. In addition, The Doors has a dynamic quality that will encourage visitors to re-experience the sculpture at different times of the day as well as over time. The sculpture invites exploration—not only of itself—but of the entire downtown as well.

The sculpture has 1,300 hand forged, stainless steel, decorative rivets, in addition to 1,100 linear feet of strapping—all created by a blacksmith."

Lots of driving muggles who paid no attention to us. We made a fast find and admired the artwork. Thanks for placing this cache, radDad1!

I had walked by these doors earlier in my stay but didn't realize there was a cache here until I started out this evening on my searching. Lots of people moving about and tried in a number of places with no success. Thanks for hiding a cache here as I wouldn't have realized that this artwork had more to it than just the visual aspect.

Came up for lunch form Tempe and decided to try a few caches while we were here. Was able to track this one down while experienceing the artwork. don't think I would have had the chance to check it out otherwise. Thanks. SL.
