1870-1873 Hermann City R.I.P. Traditional Cache
luvs2yak: Am calling it quits on this one since someone obviously doesn't care for the caching game. On my return today I found the area destroyed and the cache gone. It was a fun ride while it lasted.

Just imagine an entire town for only three short years.
This community of about 70 homes and stores, complete with hotel was centered around the Waplers Glass Works which manufactured Christmas decorations and "shades"(glass covers for collectables).
The town also had a wharf into the river and history speaks of the vessels "Frances" and "Argo" sinking on this spot.
The cache contains some kids stuff, my dragonfly and a george bill which First finder can e-mail me the serial number. Log book and pencils.
