Geocache Description:

Lime Kiln Trail/Robe Valley Canyon. Well maintained fairly new trail. Some ups and downs with a lot of flat hiking.

This is a hiking photo cache. I thought it would be something different and a way to share some hiking experiences with others. The idea is to bring a 4x6 photograph from a hiking experience place it in the small photo album and write about your picture in the log book. I started it off with a pic from a hike I did in Utah. The cache is a small ammo can hidden in light brush 2.6 miles from the trailhead.
To reach the Lime Kiln trailhead (from I-5) take US-2 (exit 194 if going northbound); after two miles take WA-204 E ramp toward Lake Stevens; then left onto WA-9, and a right onto WA-92 which becomes Granite Falls Highway. Once in Granite Falls, turn right on South Granite Avenue. In three blocks, go left on Pioneer Street, which leaves the city and becomes Menzel Lake Road. In about a mile, go left on Waite Mill Road and go past a school bus turnaround to the signed trailhead on the left.
