Cache number 7 for the series of 8 needed to find ? Geo Adventure.

Located by Hinkston Run Dam this is a wonderful natural waterfall. This is one of those neat areas to see especially after a hard rain. The hardest part to finding this cache is finding the roads that lead you to it. At one time you use to be able to cross the closed bridge. Growing up as a kid, I would follow the trail from my grandparents house down to here. Then walk across the bridge and make the loop back around to my grandparents. That was quite a long time ago. Good luck and happy caching.

This is part of a series to find (GCYNN1).

Finally got back and found this one. Was here in the spring and DNF. Signed log in a hurry because it was pouring down rain and forgot about getting the clue to finish the series. Guess will be back a third time.

This is our 300th geocache. I have never been to this reservoir before, although my husband grew up in Johnstown and had visited it many times. It was my day off from work, so the husband, youngest son, and I set out to find this cache and another and do some fishing. My husband and I took turns handing off the baby to each other as we navigated across the muddy trail leading to the cache and back. We didn't trade any items, just signed the log. Nice hide! TFTC.

Our GPS took us right up to the coordinates and then all we had to do was enter the woods and look. It was slightly difficult getting to this location because of the bridge being closed, but we managed. Someone had left a few Starburst in the cache (tsk, tsk!) and a ton of carpenter ants had invaded. So, we had to dump the cache out, let them scatter and then put everything back in. For some reason, the lid doesn't seem to close completely securely, but contents inside were dry. Nice hide, thanks. #80

*I originally found this cache using the caching name “JS63007”. I now have my own account and wanted to note the find under my new name, too.
