Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT OUTSIDE - IT IS INSIDE & only available during office hours, 7:45 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Friday.

Coordinates are where you park. Because cachers keep trying to find an outside cache after hours and at night, security has informed me I may have to shut the cache down if visitors continue to not pay attention to the hours.

Congratulations to Ivang for FTF.

Public Information Center for Your Public Lands (and we groundspeak here) - Roswell Field Office (visit link)

Welcome to southeastern New Mexico! Whether you own a backpack, mountain bike, horse, or motor home, adventure awaits you within the 1.4 million acres of public land managed by BLM's Roswell Field Office. Quality recreation can be found in the area's caves, off-highway vehicle areas, campgrounds, hike, horseback and mountainbike trails, and historic sites, not to mention its exotic lava flows and other backcountry gems.

Oh, did we mention there's lots of caches out and about on these public lands, north, south, east and west, and all the in-betweens?

So, come out and enjoy these exciting opportunities on YOUR public lands!

If you're headed toward Lincoln or Ruidoso, be sure to visit our Fort Stanton-Snowy River Cave National Conservation Area (NCA) which surrounds old Fort Stanton State Monument and its excellent Museum (in which we have an NCA interpretive room). Fort Stanton is where BLMBilbo usually hangs out, He's retired from BLM - this office). BLMBilbo volunteers at the Fort Stanton Historic Site Museum/Visitor Center, usually Tuesdays, Thursday's, Fridays and Sundays. So if you'd like to talk to a BLM-oriented cacher and maybe trade TBs and coins, find out about the next Billy the Kid Geofest, or just talk shop, send him a message via Geocaching.com
