Lake Walyungup is a seasonally inundated lake, predominantly limestone and gypsum surface, used for motorcycle speedway in the 50s. Present day use for radio controlled aircraft and landsailing on weekends during the summer months.
I have been coming here regularly to kite buggy so this cache was a combination of my two hobbies, for me it is a slice of heaven. There is loads of wildlife including roo's, black swans, pelicans and eagles.
If the model aircraft or land yachts are out please walk around the area rather than through it - if you see somebody being pulled a round in a three wheeled buggy by a large kite, give me a wave!
The cache is hidden in an area that will allow you retrieval without being observed. It is a 1l sistema container, containing a log book, pen and a few items of SWAG. It is the ideal size foe TB's.
