How Geocaching Works
Some years ago, there was a cache on this farmstead located near the road. Over time, it disappeared and it is time to re-instate it. Permission was given by landowner cousins who live here, so please respect that.
This cache is one of my series of "U" hides and is a bit unusual and unique to the inexperienced geocacher. Most of them are located around my home area of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, but I had to place one here on my wife's cousins' farm. It is located on a very busy north/south county road where the traffic is moving very fast when they pass the farmhouse. There is a good parking space on the west side of the road. There is absolutely no need to drive off the road near the house. The neighbors are very friendlly, but are busy farmers so they are moving equipment at various times during the day. You should wave at them when you see them, but don't ask where the cache is hidden.
