Description:
the Camden House Meeting was established in 1795, in Camden just south of Dover, Delaware. The historic meetinghouse was built in 1805. It has been recognized on The National Register of Historic Places. The early members were Quakers and some were abolitionists and are credited in helping and risking their lives to provide shelter to slaves that were running away from slavery on the Underground Railroad.

One of the most noted members was John Hunn, who was the Chief Engineer of the Underground Railroad in Delaware. He is also buried nearby in the cemetery. This is one of the stops on the Delaware Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway.
