Geocache Description:

Find this cache in the Thornon Gore Cemetery.  The farming village of Thornton Gore dates from the 1800's, and was abandoned by the early 1900's when the lumber barons came to town.

Walk the old "Main Street" to the cemetery and keep a keen eye open for the cellar holes of some of the old farmhouses and barns. Tripoli Road is closed for the snowy season; check with the White Mountain National Forest for road closures here: Link to W.M.N.F. Parking at the top of the hill beyond the WMNF trailer.
