This cache is a small Ammo Can.
This is one of a series of 78 caches, named after the cards in a Deck of Tarot Cards. A common Deck of Tarot Cards consists of 22 specialty cards known as the Major Arcana and 56 suited cards known as the Minor Arcana.
The Major Arcana are a set of twenty-two cards, numbered zero to twenty-one, with no suit. These cards describe the normal progression of a truly holy life, and often tell where a person is along their journey, or if they have strayed. These cards are often used in Divination or Fortune Telling.
The cards in the Major Arcana are: The Fool, The Magician, The High Priestess, The Empress, The Emperor, The Hierophant, The Lovers, The Chariot, Strength, The Hermit, The Wheel, Justice, The Hanged Man, Death, Temperance, The Devil, The Tower, The Star, The Moon, The Sun, Judgement, and The World.
The Minor Arcana closely match common Anglo-American playing cards, having Ace-through-Ten and four face cards in each suit. The face cards are Page, Knight, Queen, and King. Each suit of the Minors corresponds to one of the four Alchemical Elements. Coins correspond with the Earth, Swords with Air, Wands with Fire and Cups with water.
In addition to the 78 caches named for the cards in a Tarot Deck, there are three additional Bonus Tarot Caches, which are puzzle caches. To solve the Bonus Tarot Cache puzzles, you will need to gather information from the 78 Tarot Caches. Inside each cache you will find an Alpha-Numeric conversion, such as “F = 6”. Please be sure and record these, as they will be necessary to solve the puzzles for the coordinates for the 3 Bonus Caches. You do not need to find all 78 of the Tarot Caches to solve the puzzles for the Bonus Caches.
All 81 of the Tarot Caches are located along the CA-138 corridor, between Quail Lake and Lancaster. All of the caches are accessible by paved roads, and are no more that 250 Feet from the pavement. Some of the caches will require walking through some brush, so long pants and good shoes are strongly suggested.
As always, when caching in the desert, be aware of the plants and wildlife around you, and be prepared with water and any other supplies that might make sense.
