Let's get together for a geocaching splash mob!
I recently got my first kayak and had a great time using it at Green Turtle Pond, located in West Milford. The trip to this lake was part of an informal get together of a few cachers, organized for two reasons: so that I could try out my kayak in the company of people who know their way around boats, and to spend a few hours paddling around the lake with a fun group of people. As a bonus, we even found a couple geocaches together, including my first T5 cache.
Now I'd like to organize a more formal event on the Monksville Reservoir, a place I have yet to visit. After consulting with mmacgown on previous splash mobs, I'm putting together this event for anyone interested in meeting for some geo-chat in the middle of the reservoir.
Date: Saturday, August 2nd, 2014
Time: 9am to 11am. Feel free to arrive earlier and stay later!
Note: When logging a will attend, please note if you have a boat to loan another for the day.
