Table Mountain is now a Hot Zone.
Virus Cache Bravo is another reservoir for a payload of ten
viral mini-caches that are spread only through GPSr infected human
hosts. The goal of each of the mini-caches is to attach to a host
and infect another destination. In this cache, each mini-cache is
super-infected with a CITO trash bag inside a film canister, so
please take one of these to use when you take a viral mini-cache.
These caches would like to travel to scenic areas, maybe off the
beaten path. If you become infected, one the best place to cure
yourself of the infection might be on a long hike in some close by,
wild, natural place. I’ve hiked to more nice spots when looking for
caches, than when just looking for nice spots.
When you hide one of the mini-caches, please log it at here so I
know where it went - that will be my excuse for some hikes to new
areas - to study the spread of the virus. All in the interest of
research, of course.
The cache is a regular size ammo box with it's payload of ten
viral mini-caches, a FTF prize (an MP3 player), and an assortment
of the usual trade goods. Each mini-cache has log sheets and a
pencil – it's empty otherwise, but there is room for a few small
trade items. It’s located close to the top of Table Mountain –
Table Mountain is more of a low rise than a peak, so you will
probably need your GPSr to localize the top.
Note: Virus refers to the concept, not to what’s physically in
the cache. There is no biological virus in the cache, unless it got
in accidentally when I sneezed.
