De gegeven coördinaten zijn niet de echte cache coördinaten maar van een nabijgelegen straat waar een mogelijkheid tot parkeren is.
Een geocacher zit vaak op de GPS te kijken, maar het blijft natuurlijk belangrijk regelmatig met een ruime blik naar de wereld te kijken.
Werp een blik op de foto (noot: onderaan de beschrijving is ook een tweede foto te vinden).
- In welke plaats ligt het gele kruis?
- Bepaal de coördinaten van het kruis. De laatste 3 cijfers van N zijn X70, de laatste van E zijn Y70. Hierbij zijn X en Y even, en is X 2 keer zo groot als Y.
- Zet nu de letters van de naam van de plaats om in getallen (A=1, B=2, ...).
De cache ligt t.o.v. het kruis op
Noord + (A4 + B4 - AxC2 + B + 2xC) x (B - C)
Oost + D3x(C-D) + A2xBxC - BxCxD + 2xC - A
waarbij A = waarde eerste letter van de plaatsnaam etc. Wanneer xxxxxxx uit de berekening komt dit interpreteren als xx°xx.xxx.

- In which place is the yellow cross located?
- Determine the coordinates of the cross. The last 3 numbers of N are X70, the last of E are Y70. X and Y are even, and X is 2 times as big as Y.
- Convert the letters of the name of the place to numbers (A=1, B=2, ...).
The cache is located w.r.t. the cross at
North + (A4 + B4 - AxC2 + B + 2xC) x (B - C)
East + D3x(C-D) + A2xBxC - BxCxD + 2xC - A
where A = value of the first letter of the name of the place etc. When the calculation gives xxxxxxx this must be interpreted as xx°xx.xxx.
