Because of road construction, the park will be closed for 30 days starting April 22, 2024.
More info.
This is a popular cross-country skiing area, which provides great trails in the "off-season." Begin by parking at N 43 11.378' W 89 37.270'. Then go from there.
This is probably a fun hike for the whole family. There are some challenging hills, but nothing energetic kids couldn't handle. Pets are allowed in the park on a leash with a small fee. If you are XC skiing, there is a fee on the weekends. If hiking in the summer, be sure to apply plenty of bug repellant before you start your hike.
Enjoy!!
