Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the 2915 series of caches designed to be done as a Day/Night experience for families.

The series will take between 1-2 hours depending on the age of the children and is designed to take some children out of their normal comfort zone with some short off track experiences.

This is the Night part of the Series.

It is to be done after sunset to get the effect.

This area was once a private residence and the area was purchased by the Brisbane City Council to maintain the bushland corridor between Karrawatha Forest and the Greenbank Army Reserve.

A lot of work has been done of the recent years to replant the area with the 10 Million Trees project.

A visual trail will be illuminated at night with the aid of a torch. The trail will lead through the forest and is suitable for small children. The trail is less than 200m.

It may be possible to do the trail during the day but to get the effect it is recommended that it be done after dark.

Parking is available at the attached coordinates. It is accessible from the Northbound lane. Parking is available on the side of the road just past the end of the roadside barrier. From the Southbound lane there is a U=Turn lane 100m past the parking spot.
