Geocache Description:

This is a challenging up/down hike on established by the Friends of Badger and is an awesome graveled desert single track trail. The serenity and views are worth the effort.

Start your journey by parking near the intersection of Queensgate and Meadow Hills Drive. This is a new section of Queensgate that is located off Shockley. Shockley heads Southwest off Keene Road at Bethel Church. The end of Shockley is the section of Queensgate you never knew about. The Queensgate and Meadow Hills intersection and your starting point is at N46 14.002 W119 17.986 in South Richland.

The cache contains things a firefighter might have and the log book will tell you a little about some of the things you can see. The cache (an ammo can) is barely visible at the base of the monument. It will take you less than an hour round trip depending on you conditioning (and 1, 000 calories to get this one) and it's all walkable in nice new trails. Happy Hiking and a Giant Thank You to "The Friends of Badger."

Firefighter Ken
